Meet Your Photographer…

Hi. I’m Natalie.

I’M SO HAPPY YOU ARE HERE!

Now that you found me I wanted to let you in on a secret, portrait sessions don't have to be stressful. They can actually be so much fun! Leave ALL the hard stuff to me! We will talk about your goals for your photo session, your fears, and your expectations. Let me show you how amazing artistic photography and portraits will look on your walls as I guide you through the entire process. I’ll also be helping you pick your clothes, provide hair and makeup artistry and get your art hung on the walls for you! From start to finish I’m your gal!

I started photographing kids and families professionally in 2001 after completing my first degree in Photography. I fell in love with the process of creating art for other people of “their people” and never turned back!

I'll save some things to talk about when we meet! I can't wait to meet you and your family!

Cincinnati’s most trusted portrait expert

Since venturing into the world of professional portrait photography in 2001, my passion for capturing memorable moments has only grown stronger. The year 2004 marked a significant turning point in my career as I took the bold step of establishing my own business. In 2007 I moved that business to Cincinnati, Ohio. Specializing in photographing children and families, I aim to provide a unique and personalized experience for my clients that would create treasured keepsakes for generations to come.
From 2009 to 2013, I embarked on a new adventure as an adjunct instructor at Antonelli College. This opportunity allowed me to share my knowledge and passion for photography with aspiring artists. Teaching various photography classes within the photography department, I covered a wide range of topics including the practical aspects of running a photography business, the principles of design, and delving into the rich history of the medium. It was immensely rewarding to see my students grow and develop their own unique artistic voices.
Recognizing the value of continuous learning and growth, I seized the chance to serve as a guest lecturer at several local colleges and universities. Through these engagements, I had the pleasure of interacting with eager minds and fostering creativity within the next generation of photographers. Most recently, I had the honor of holding the position of Adjunct Faculty at Miami University, a role that further solidified my dedication to nurturing and educating aspiring artists.
In 2016, I decided on a transformative journey to further refine my craft, obtaining a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. My time in this program allowed me to immerse myself in a dynamic artistic community and gain invaluable insights from industry-leading professionals. The experience not only broadened my artistic vision but also equipped me with advanced techniques and elevated my ability to communicate and inspire others.
I am always on the lookout for new opportunities that enable me to share my passion and expertise. Regardless of the level or capacity, I am open to mentoring, consulting, and classroom instruction as I continue to advance in my photography career.
